An artist, among many other things. I love to make stuff, including pottery, photographs, paintings and sketches, gardens, wobbly scarfs, fairly square shelves, and chicken coops. I am constantly finding new media to make things in. Pottery is the one of choice at the moment.

Seattle has been home for almost 20 years now, and I love it dearly.  Even the rainy, dark winters... well, maybe I don't love those so much, but I don't loath them, not all the time anyway.  I very much love the Sound and the ocean and the city in fall.

My studio is a tiny, overfull room by the garden and my chickens occasionally wander in to check things out in the spring and summer when I forget to close the door.

Inspiration comes from everywhere, most often from the sea and the garden.

My other hobbies include diving, rock climbing, cooking, kayaking, reading, tea drinking, hiding from humanity, biking, being with my family, and not writing artist bios.
